TAQA Energy B.V. operates on- and offshore installations of oil and gas production and storage in The Netherlands. Future TAQA activities in The Netherlands will be focused on E&P upstream and midstream. TAQA Energy B.V operates several gas fields and one gas storage field on and offshore Netherlands. In addition TAQA Energy B.V. and its partners are in the initial project phase of rebuilding the almost depleted Bergermeer gas field into a second underground gas storage facility. TAQA Energy B.V. has a strong ambition to grow the asset base in The Netherlands by developing new fields and actively acquiring additional assets.

TAQA Energy B.V. is looking for a SUBSURFACE MANAGER To lead the TAQA Energy subsurface team.

General
We are looking for a strong technical subsurface professional. Ideally this should be a person who is still involved in technical work, but ready to lead a team, make decisions and share knowledge with others. The subsurface team conducts all reservoir, wells and petroleum engineering activities, including the identification production improvement opportunities and execution of that work both in gas and oil and in underground gas storage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Appraisal and development of new production prospects and underground storage projects
• Reservoir and well management
• Production and storage optimization
• Production forecasting and nominations
• Reserve bookings and maintenance of partner and government relations and obligations
• Supervise, motivate and mentor the members of the subsurface team

Requirements

• Academic working and thinking level
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or comparable
• At least 10 years of experience with gas and oil production
• Ability to work both as a team player and leader
• Independent, proactive and innovative
• Safety and performance driven
• Fluent in English with good communication and presentation skills
