Job description
- Holds overall accountability for the preparation and consolidation of production plans and performs analyses of Asset / Field Cluster production data
- Holds overall accountability for planning of Asset Reference Plan, Opex, Capex, etc.
- Conducts the controlling process within the Asset, checking and monitoring of relevant key performance indicators, identification of gaps and corresponding improvement levers
- Prepares database for selection of Asset / Field Cluster development options
- Prepares mid term planning incl. budget, investment portfolio, life of Field plan etc.
- Proposes annual Asset Reference Plan / plan for Asset development
- Reviews and updates production forecasts for existing Fields
- Analyses input data for life of Field planning and creates life cycle oriented options for development of Fields and prepares / revises gross/detailed life of Field plan
- Updates model assumption
- Knowledge and experience in financial methodologies and principles, standards and practices applicable for evaluation, prioritising and monitoring of Asset / Field Cluster related budgets, projects and investment opportunities
- Knowledge for possible applications of production technology, surface and subsurface maintenance, drilling, waste & abandonment
- Keeps continuously updated on developments and new technologies in the oil & gas industry
Requirements
- University degree in business administration / industrial engineering or similar
- Experience in the petroleum / oil & gas industry
- Holistic understanding from corporate strategy to Field management
- Extended experience in "value optimised" Asset Management ("life cycle oriented productivity / cost management", optimisation of running costs and of return on investment)
- Extended knowledge of planning and economics incl. financial management (Opex, Capex, investment decision making)
- Analytical and communication skills as well as managerial experience
- Proven track record (motivation, responsibility, people management, etc.)
- Potential for personal development
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Competent with the use of computers
