The upstream sector includes oil and gas production facilities, pipelines, gas processing and liquefied natural gas production facilities and receiving terminals.
Job description
Our client has a requirement for a Dredging Supervisor based offshore at Atyrau working on the Kashagan Project.
To provide, with full responsibility and accountability, supervision & management services to in all areas of Dredging and associated works, during Definition and Execution stages, ensuring that the Works carried out, material used and methods followed are in compliance with the Design and Specifications, latest Codes, Standards, National and Corporation requirements and Procedures.
- Contributes towards planning, sequencing schedules, discipline Engineering Codes, Standards, Specifications and Philosophies.
- Carries the duties and responsibilities for all areas of work covered for the supervision of Dredging and associated Works for the proposed Project. These include, but are not necessarily limited to identifying the dredging area, methodology of dredging including undersea blasting, transportation of dredged material to desired fill area, Environmental Impact and ensure that all mitigation works as specified in the Contract has been complied.
- Co-ordinates with EPIC Contractor and oversees the dredging activities performed by the Contractor in order to achieve the goal of project completion within time, quality and budget. Supervises and approves the dredging activities and co-ordinates various aspects of project construction including inspections, receiving information and working drawings from contractors and processing documentation as required.
- Checks and ensures that all dredging works are completed in accordance with approved standards consistent with contract specifications
Requirements
Professional Engineer with sound technical understanding of Dredging Techniques
Subsea/Marine background
Experience in the management of large capital projects preferably with experience managing large scale dredging related projects.
In order to meet Kazakhstan immigration requirements for work permits, the minimum qualification is ONC/C&G in a related subject. Minimum of seven years’ relevant experience is also required.
