West Australian energy group, the DomGas Alliance, has urged against developing the massive offshore Browse gas reserves using a floating liquefied natural gas option.

Operator Woodside Petroleum has been planning to build liquefied natural gas processing facilities at James Price Point in the remote Kimberley region on Australia’s north-west coast to process gas from Browse.
