The state-ownedcompany is understood to have issued the tender documents to at least threecontractors to participate in the front-end engineering and design studiescontest.
Theshortlisted engineering contractors will be tasked to undertake parallel FEEDstudies, with support from yard operators and offshore installation playerspre-qualified by Petronas earlier this year.
The FEEDcontest is projected to last through the first half of 2013, leading to thefinal award of the engineering, procurement, construction, installation andcommissioning contract in the second half of next year.
