Under the terms of the farm-in agreement with WHL Energy, AWE will pay 75% of the total cost, capped at $9 million, to acquire a 3D marine seismic survey over the La Bella field in Block Vic/P67 and surrounding exploration targets.
The shoot has full environmental approvals and is expected to begin this November or December, according to WHL finance director David Rowbottam.
