CAPP's annual report on crude oil markets forecasts production of about 6.7 million barrels per day in 2030, up from 3.2 million bpd last year. That includes oil-sands output of 5.2 million bpd then compared to 1.8 million bpd in 2012.
The latest forecast sees about 500,000 bpd more production than last year's forecast, including increased conventional production of 300,000 bpd about 200,000 bpd more oil sands production by 2030, in-situ oil-sands output ramps up.
