The 58-year-old woman was being held by police after the incident in the early hours of Saturday morning in which the manager complained he had been attacked as he tried to enter the Daneshill Road site near Sutton cum Lound in Nottinghamshire, local publication Retford Times reported.
The site manager did not though require hospital treatment, according to the company.
Dart said in a statement the incident followed a night of protests in which masked demonstrators circled the site shouting abuse, hurling objects at security personnel and causing criminal damage.
