Sino Gas is currently awaiting interpretation of 285 kilometres of seismic data that was shot in January, and expects to get it later in the second quarter.
The company has mobilised eight rigs in the Ordos Basin, Shanxi province, and has started drilling the first of 14 wells. Those wells will supply data for requirements of the first round of Chinese Reserve Reports, which will likely be completed in the second half of the year.
