A company identified as Drill One Capital has signed up for the CJ 80 unit, the Dubai-based builder said on Monday.
The rig, which will measure 101 metres by 110 metres, will be capable of drilling in water depths of up to 175 metres and is designed to operate in the harsh environment of the Norwegian North Sea.
It will accommodate up to 160 people and will be able to drill to depths of 40,000 feet, or 12,192 metres, Drydocks said.
