Total not budging on mid-term target

Production plans: De Margerie says major start-ups will be delivered

Total chief executive Christophe de Margerie has insisted the company can reach its medium-term output target of three million barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2018, and that the French oil major will not join its European peers in chopping guidance after lacklustre results.
