Kashagan case: Operators appeal fine levied over sour gas flaring

The consortium developing Kazakhstan's huge Kashagan oilfield has lodged an appeal against a 134.2 billion tenge ($737 million) fine for excess sour gas flaring imposed by a regional authority, reports have said.
