Cenovus Energy boosts profit by 44%

Canada’s Cenovus Energy said it would go ahead with an initial phase of its Grand Rapids oil sands project as it boosted net income by 44% to $247 million in the first quarter thanks to unrealised risk management gains as well as increased production.
