Peru will soon fire thestarting pistol for a new package of offshore blocks located in four littleexplored areas on the country’s continental shelf.
The blocks will be offeredon 31 May, an official with the state hydrocarbons promotion agency, Perupetro,said on the sidelines of LNG 17 in Houston on Thursday.
The round, which willshowcase lots in some of the deepest waters the country has ever offered toexplorers, is already drawing heavy interest from the industry, Oscar MiroQuesada, promotion and communications manager said.
