Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell is keen to develop its 2014 Kaikias discovery, which was appraised in 2015 and holds estimated resources of more than 100 million barrels.

The company has begun front-end engineering and design work and has contracted the drillship Noble Don Taylor to carry out well drilling and completion activities.
