Norwegian authorities and industry analysts are beginning to predict a significant uptick in investment in the oil and gas industry on the Norwegian continental shelf.
During the downturn in the oil industry as many as 40,000 employees in the sector lost their jobs in Norway, but analysts are now suggesting that cost cuts and efficiency measures are allowing the sector to turn the corner.
