The US company’s chief executive Andy Inglis said production averaged about 91,000 barrels per day in the three months to 31 September and hit 100,000 bpd recently, close to the FPSO’s capacity.
The FPSO cannot weathervane because of the bearing issue so tugs are being used when offloading crude to dynamically positioned shuttle tankers to maintain the floater on an appropriate heading.
