INDIA is the world’s fourth-largest importer of liquefied natural gas and there is little doubt that demand will continue to increase.
However, the scale and timing of this expansion hinges on a number of factors, including the massive investment required for new receiving facilities and the construction of new pipelines and related gas infrastructure to distribute regasified volumes across the subcontinent.
