Gas distributor Hubei Energy has teamed up with local governments and businesses to build two liquefied natural gas import terminals.
The projects — in Yinkou in northeastern China’s Liaoning province and Binzhou in eastern China’s Shandong province — are targeting combined cycle power plants as well as urban gas markets in both cities and around the Bohai Rim in northern China.
