At least four international engineering, procurement and construction contractors have submitted technical bids to Al Dhafra Petroleum to provide surface facilities for its Haliba oilfield development onshore Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Sources told Upstream that technical bids for the Haliba development were submitted on 20 November after being delayed by a few weeks.
Contractors understood to have submitted bids include Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company, India’s Larsen & Toubro, China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC), and Italy’s Tecnimont.
