The worker “sustained injuries to their lower chin and wrist while erecting scaffolding”, the Canada Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) regulator said.

The incident occurred last Friday.

“The injured employee was transported by medevac and was treated in hospital and released,” C-NLOPB said, citing a report from Husky.

The SeaRose FPSO produces oil from the White Rose field about 350 kilometres south-east of St John’s.
