UK independent Premier Oil is formulating a development plan for its gas and condensate discoveries in the Tuna permit off northern Indonesia, with floating facilities seen as the preferred concept.
The company is contemplating running a market survey with providers of floating production, storage and offloading vessels.
There are still some hurdles to overcome for that market inquiry to materialise, but sources said Premier has potentially an enticing contract to offer the FPSO suppliers.
