The kidnapping occurred on Saturday afternoon. The men were dragged out of their car on the road near the town of Drazinda, about 80 kilometres north-west of the city of Dera Ismail Khan, according to representatives of the Pakistani army.
The area where the men were taken is close to South Waziristan, which is part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas that borders Afghanistan.
