Hurricane Energy has signed up Bluewater Energy Services’ Aoka Mizu floating production storage and offloading vessel as the fractured basement specialist looks to get an early production system (EPS) installed on its Lancaster field off the UK.
Hurricane this week agreed heads of terms with Netherlands-based Bluewater including a right to extend the contract for up to 10 years.
The company has exclusive rights over the unit until November 2017.
