“Due to the challenging market conditions, the group is currently in negotiations with certain vendors for cancellation of procurement contracts to conserve cash and to assess if further impairment is required for the assets,” Oslo-listed Emas said.
The talks come as Emas reported deeper impairment charges than it had previously realised in its quarterly and fiscal-year earnings report issued on 30 October.
