Beleaguered Singapore-based offshore contractor Swiber is unlikely to complete unfinished work at three key shallow-water development projects for Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) off India’s west coast, with the remaining work expected to be re-tendered by ONGC at a later stage.
Industry sources told Upstream that Swiber has been unable to find a contractor to carry out the transportation and installation work at the three ONGC projects, despite launching a tender process earlier this year.
