South Korean operator Posco Daewoo has invited expressions of interest from major subsea equipment and installation contractors covering front-end engineering and design work on the second phase development of its Shwe project, covering the Mya South and Shwe Phyu fields off Myanmar.
The expressions of interest are understood to have been issued to FMC Technologies, GE and McDermott of the US as well as Italy’s Saipem and possibly others.
