Brazil’s Petrobras has vowed to appeal the latest injunctions issued by a federal court in the state of Sergipe, blocking the sale processes for several assets.
The latest injunctions were issued against the purported sale of a controlling stake in BR Distribuidora, the oil company’s retail arm, and the attempted sale of a clutch of onshore assets, known as the Topazio project.
