At least five leading international subsea contractors or consortia have submitted bids to Reliance Industries for a key subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines package involving its $3 billion plus R-Series gas development and satellite project in deep-water Block D6 off India’s east coast.
Sources close to the SURF project told Upstream that technical and commercial offers were submitted to the Indian company on 30 November by five players, after being delayed by close to a month.
