Anti-fracking campaigners have probably been labelled many things by both energy players and police as they have stood in the way of UK drilling activity — but “terrorists” may be stretching it a bit.
However, that is the implication in official documents from the UK’s York City Council that dub the campaigners “extremists”, putting them in the same category as far-right and terrorist groups.
