UK-listed fractured basement specialist Hurricane Energy has finished the year with another discovery from its closely-watched drilling campaign in the UK West of Shetland area, this time at the Lincoln prospect.
Hurricane has completed the 205/26b-A well, with early results suggesting that pre-drill estimates of a discovery containing 250 million barrels of recoverable oil could be on the cautious side, it said.
