The volume is nearly half the amount touted under the non-binding heads of agreement which the pair signed in March for 500,000 tpa.
The binding deal can be extended a further five years by mutual agreement. Origin is expected to start supplying LNG following the completion of ENN’s Zhoushan receiving terminal in 2018 or 2019.
