The blaze forced the evacuation of four crew members, who were picked up by an offshore service vessel, but no injuries or spills were reported.
The fire was reported at about 2.30am local time on Thursday 5 January and was extinguished by 5.50 am after four service vessels responded. Personnel arrived at the platform on Thursday afternoon and confirmed the ignition source was extinguished and all hydrocarbons were secure, Renaissance said.
