The non-binding agreements call for the Brownsville facility to supply up to 3.1 million tonnes per annum total to the buyers for a period of 20 years. They allow enough room to increase volumes to 4 million tpa.
With these agreements, the plant is over-subscribed for its phase one capacity of 2 million tpa, putting the plant on track to reach a final investment decision by 2018, according to Texas LNG.
