Argentina has taken a significant step toward larger-scale development of the Vaca Muerta shale with the announcement of a tripartite agreement between government, organised labour and oil and gas companies, aimed at boosting productivity and investments in the region.
There are still some details lacking in the agreement, and the signing process was postoponed at the last minute due to trade union reservations.
