After weeks of excitement from industry proponents and Alberta’s conservative sect, Trump’s campaign manager and advisor, Kellyanne Conway, axed her upcoming tour of Northern Alberta’s oil sands and subsequent keynote address at a fundraiser in Calgary.
She was scheduled to tour the region on 11 January and speak at the Alberta Prosperity Fund’s (APF) event the following evening.
No specific reason has been given for the cancellation nor has anything been rescheduled.
