Renaissance Oil has teamed up with Russia’s Lukoil on Mexico’s Amatitlan block, a tract in the Chicontepec region that has excited unconventionals experts about the shale potential.
The Canadian junior, formed to pursue onshore developments in Mexico, has announced a $1.75 million deal with Russia’s Lukoil for a 25% stake in the service agreement on the block in Mexico’s Poza Rica trend.
