An Indian bank is taking control of the Malaviya Twenty supply vessel that has been detained since last June in a UK port, raising prospects that 12 crew members will be able to leave for home soon with their salaries paid.
The Malaviya Twenty was one of two vessels owned by Indian oilfield services provider GOL Offshore that were initially detained by UK authorities.
