ExxonMobil has signed two framework agreements with the Vietnamese government to support the proposed multi-billion dollar Ca Voi Xanh (Blue Whale) gas-to-power development in central Vietnam.
A project framework heads of agreement and a gas sales heads of agreement were signed by the US supermajor, national energy company PetroVietnam and its upstream subsidiary PetroVietnam Exploration & Production.
An ExxonMobil spokesperson confirmed the deals were signed but said terms were confidential.
