The ExxonMobil-led owners of the Papua New Guinea LNG project are anticipating a sizeable upgrade in the technically recoverable raw gas resources at several of their feedstock fields.
Netherland Sewell & Associates is close to completing a review of the Hides, Angore, Juha and associated gas fields, said project co-owner Oil Search.
Preliminary indications show a “material increase” in the technically recoverable raw gas resources within these fields when compared to Netherland Sewell & Associates’ PNG LNG project gas resources certification in 2009.
