Dennis Clark’s retirement as chairman of Newcastle-based OGN Group brings down the curtain on an offshore career that has spanned nearly five decades, much of it associated with the Hadrian Yard at Wallsend on the River Tyne in England.

Clark, 70, has mixed feelings on leaving the industry that has occupied his life and he is concerned for its future.
