India's Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has started tendering for its Ratna and R-Series oil project off the country’s west coast.
Industry sources told Upstream that as part of its plan, ONGC has invited bids for the complete makeover of its R-12-A wellhead platform in the Ratna field, which has been lying idle for more than two decades.
ONGC is planning fast-track production from the facility within months, with the help of a mobile offshore production unit.
