PNOC president Reuben Lista said its Mabini Energy Supply Base is the most logical and practical location for the onshore facilities to handle gas from the proposed LNG floating storage and regasification unit.
“We will put up storage facilities there for the LNG because it would be faster and we do not need to develop any other infrastructure,” Lista said.
Mabini already has a pier, and its location is only a few kilometres from existing pipeline infrastructure at Tabangao.
