US fracturing company Mammoth Energy Services is expanding its pressure pumping fleet and restarting its sand processing facility in Wisconsin ahead of schedule, writes Noah Brenner.
Oklahoma-based Mammoth has ordered another 57,500 horsepower for delivery in June to increase its total fleet size to 300,000 horsepower, configured into six spreads.
The latest expansion comes on top of its addition of 75,000 horsepower that it ordered in November 2016 and which is being delivered in the coming weeks.
