The partners, which include Petrovietnam Exploration & Production and Thailand’s PTTEP, now have permission to drill up to 18 additional wells on the acreage in the Cuu Long basin.
They are also permitted to put new processing equipment on the H1 wellhead platform. The new equipment will have capacity to handle 90,000 barrels per day of liquids, with up to 65,000 bpd of water-handling capacity.
