British Columbia and the Lax Kw’alaams First Nation have signed three major benefits agreements related to the construction and operation of an LNG export facility near Prince Rupert.
A fourth benefits agreement was also signed between the First Nation and lead project proponent Petronas.
“After many meetings and negotiation sessions, I feel pleased we are this stage,” said Lax Kw’alaams Mayor John Helin.
