Allseas has taken the ex-Rem Poseidon for a firm period of three years, with two one-year contract extension options.
No contract rate was disclosed. The vessel will be deployed across Allseas’ portfolio of projects, which includes a deal from South Stream Transport to lay the first line of the TurkStream pipeline in the Black Sea. Work will begin in the second quarter using the twin-hulled construction, decommissioning and pipelay vessel Pioneering Spirit.
