Sverdrup operator Statoil and Edvard Grieg operator Lundin Petroleum have so far failed to agree on cost sharing.

Statoil and partners Lundin, Aker BP, Petoro and Maersk Oil are in the final stage of concept selection for the Johan Sverdrup Future project, its second phase of development, and have been instructed by the Norwegian parliament to include a solution for power from shore for several platforms in the Utsira High area before the end of 2022.
