Brazilian oil giant Petrobras is considering its options on how to proceed with the contracting of the hull of the P-71 floating production, storage and offloading vessel, after axing its construction with local engineering company Ecovix.
According to project partner Galp Energia, there is a process in the market checking if the best alternative for the consortium, which also includes Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell, is to build a new hull.
