South Korean operator Posco Daewoo has invited up to five leading offshore groups to submit bids to take part in a front-end engineering and design contest for the second development phase of its Shwe project off Myanmar.
The invitation to bid was issued this Tuesday and is seeking offers as soon as 21 March, according to industry sources.
The FEED workscope covers both the subsea production system and subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines for the Shwe expansion project, covering the Mya South and Shwe Phyu fields.
